I'm a retired deposition reporter with over 20 years' experience. I've taken some years off to raise a family. I've gotten used to being home, but want to reenter the reporting field. I would like to scope and proofread. I'm interested in a proofreading/scoping internship. I just purchased the full version of Case Cat, Version 13. I'm new to this software, and reentering the field. I would love to be able to intern with a reporter to be able to gain experience scoping and proofreading with Case Cat. If anyone is interested in taking on an intern, please message me or email me at rhuntercsr@gmail.com. Thanks.

Hi EBHunter,

Just to let you and others know, Scoping Made Affordable (SMA) is the only scoping training program that offers a Scoping Intern Program (SIP).

Feel free to check it out through my website of www.joyfulscoping.com.
And, yes, we do train scopists on either Case CATalyst or Eclipse.

We have had two retired court reporters who just graduated from our training program.  In the evaluation that the graduates complete after graduation, one had this to say:

"I learned much more than I realized I needed."

Thanks,
Ms. Devon Roberts
