Has anyone heard of a case called Britt-Halendorf?

I'm transcribing a depo, and the attorney objects three times in regards to right to privacy about medical questions.   I think it has something to do with HIPAA.   It sounds like he says, "Brit Halendorf" or "Britain Halendorf."

Does this sound familiar to anyone?  I thought it would be easy to Google, but I can't find it!

Thanks so much!

There is a case called Britt v. Superior Court, and there is a case called Hallendorf v. Superior Court.  Google either one and you will find information on it.  He may be hyphenating it Britt-Hallendorf.  It has to do with first amendment limitations on discovery of private or sensitive information regarding one's personal life.

Thank you sooo much! It didn't even occur to me that it was two different cases, which is why I couldn't find anything online with both names together. You saved me! Thanks!! :)    -    Jan 6/18/2012 9:51:48 PM | Flag

On Bing, I found Hallendorf and I found Britt vs. Superior Court, so I think it`s two separate cases he`s talking about?

When all else fails, call & ask the attorney`s paralegal....or the attorney herself. They`ll appreciate the effort you`re taking to make an accurate record.

Could the last name be Allendorf? I`ve heard of that name.
