Need help with a word the Court is saying...

Hi all,

Not sure if anyone is out there on this 4th of July. I have a transcript due tomorrow and everything was going well until the Court said, "So possession is granted as of June 28th unless the bond is posted on or before then in the amount of $44,000 cash "corpraturity"??? It sounds like corpraturity, but I don't see that in the dictionary anywhere. Am I just hearing it wrong?

Thanks in advance,

Shanna

OMG! Thank you! I believe he is saying, "cash or corporate surety." Whew! It's due tomorrow so I sure appreciate it! Happy 4th!

Don't you love it when the witnesses or attorneys run their words together?  Makes our job so much easier!  NOT!!!  I'm glad someone helped you figure it out.

Could it be latin or greek? Corpus surety? Like being sure the body will come back?

I would call the court clerk and ask to see a copy of the final order or pleadings. It`s bound to be mentioned in there somewhere.
