half day v full day

if a depo is scheduled to go all day but the attorney ends up 

breezing through it and it only takes a half. how do you bill

All firms I've worked for would bill half day even if it was scheduled for a full day.  Same if it was scheduled for a half day, but it went all day, the firm would charge for a full day.
